Bill Torgan has been writing a blog for a little more than a year. He decided recently to move his blog from Godaddy’s servers to his own hosting company, www.spiderbyter.com, and since he was going to completely redesign the site he also decided to just start over without carrying the old posts to the newer site.
Bill has had a widely varied career. He enlisted in the Air Force and worked on the avionics electronics for Cargo and Bomber aircraft. He left the Air Force after serving 6 years during the Viet Nam conflict and attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. Bill later went back into the armed forces by joining the Army National Guard where he attained the rank of Captain. Bill spent 14 years on a municipal police department in Connecticut and attained the rank of Lieutenant. He started his own detective agency and specialized in polygraph examinations.
In January of 1990 Bill came to Texas and fell in love with the state. He is currently the Safety Director for Houston North Air Conditioning company. In 1997 Bill got involved with the Crighton Players acting group in Conroe, Tx. and is still currently acting and directing with them in the state-of-the-art theatre “The Owen Theatre” in downtown Conroe. Several years ago Bill ran unsuccessfully for Justice of the Peace in Montgomery County. In his volunteer role with the Crighton Players he has been Actor, Director, Volunteer Coordinator, Board President, Website developer and Webmaster.
Bill is Single and lives in Conroe, Texas.
